Online Trader is our 21st century answer to connecting your community with developing world artisans, charities and micro enterprises with just one click of a button. The latest in our DIY range, it fulfils our main goal, that of being a market bridge between the developing world and the west, to the door of your church, business, school or friends.
This method brings sorely missed fairtrade goods to your people where their regular needs of tea, coffee, chocolate, stationary and gifts can be sourced ethically and easily from our broad range.
There is no handling of money by you, no chasing people up to complete their order or pay you the money owing, and no payment for postage so all receive maximum value for their money.
Here is how it works.
1. Give us a call or e-mail to let us know you would like to begin.
2. We send you a simple user ID that relates to your group. Your password will be your first name.
3. Send your group ID and password to all participants and let them know the deadline for orders (X date, around 2 weeks away). Each ‘member’ logs on to Tribes and Nations Store, shops away, pays via EFT or credit card then includes their name in the comments box. We then receive the order, wrap their items in a earth friendly brown paper bag and await the other orders. Each individual will not be charged postage.
4. Come cut off day (which we know because we are on that group mailing list)  we pack all the individual orders together. If the orders totalled over $500 we include a cheque  made out to your group, church or favourite charity (your choice).

That cheque is calculated on the following scale.
Orders under $200, post and handling charged at 10% of the order.
Orders over $200, free postage.
Orders over $500, free postage + a cheque for 10% of the order value.*
Free postage applies to all orders from within NSW/ACT. All those outside will be 10% of order value up to $20 maximum.

Restrictions
Only orders that are paid for in full will be sent. We will not send reminders to your ‘members’ who have chosen to pay via EFT or Paypal then not done so. Your order will be sent minus their package and if they would like it sent later, separate to any subsequent orders, full P&H charges will apply. This is in order to prevent one person holding up the order of many.

* If the order contains more than 50% of products from our handcraft or Tribes and Nations coffee range. This is virtually always the case.
