While Fairtrade spent 1000s of person hours and dollars/euros/pounds building effective accreditations they put little time into marketing or even fully explaining the problem or solution. 20 years on you are much better off but there still lies a massive gap between the quality regulation laid down and our ability to fully understand the value that fair trade offers us.
