Central de Servicios Cafetaleros del Nor Oriente (CSECANOR) is a cooperative of coffee farmers from the Lambayeque region of Peru. Twenty percent of CSECANOR's members are women, and a woman represents the cooperative on Peru's National Coffee Board.

Revenue from Fairtrade sales has enabled CSECANOR to: finance the repair of 75 kilometers of highway; protect the environment, allowing hillside farmers to plant live barriers, including coffee trees; dramatically improved quality control; empower women by providing micro-credit to women for small business ventures and employ healthcare workers for the region!

What fantastic benefits Fairtrade has brought to these people. There is no charity just fair wages — paying them what they deserve, so that as a community they are able to do their own development.

The decaf process used is the Swiss water process, assuring you of a chemical free, quality coffee.
