We have just taken stock of paper bead necklaces and earrings from a new group called the Kind Mother’s Project This group is working to protect vulnerable kids who roam the street. The children are from impoverished families who can’t afford to send their children to school. By providing a market for their beautiful products, Afribeads give the women the opportunity to care for their own families.

 
Each bead is individually made from strips of recycled paper, cut into triangles and rolled into beads, then varnished, before being made into unique and gorgeous jewellery.
